We are committed to reducing our business impact on the environment, with the professional help of of 'C Ben' Cumbria Business Environmental Network. C Ben offer businesses assistance on a range of issues. This is carried out by means of an annual business audit, with a view to reducing costs and providing the latest professional guidance on management practices. With there help we have acheived 'C Ben Gold Award'.

We are saving energy, but are always looking for new ways to improve:
- All computers/monitors are turned off daily
- Push taps to reduce water wastage

- Light sensors which respond to movement and turn off automatically
- Low energy bulbs
- Solar lights
- We separate material into recycling units
- Educate customers about environmental impact
- Encourage cycling/walking in town
- Tree planting annually
By doing this we hope to incorporate more energy saving ideas in the future, using our C Ben award as a foundation to continue to build on.
